Privacy Policy
Effective August 9, 2026
This policy explains how the PluginPost desktop application and this website handle information. PluginPost is designed as a local-first product.
Information on your device
Drafts, content preferences, local research indexes, credentials, and application settings are stored on your computer unless you deliberately configure an external service or database. Local Ollama generation does not send prompt content to a cloud AI provider.
Optional connections
If you enable a cloud AI provider, public web research, PostgreSQL, licensing, updates, or another connected service, the information needed for that feature is transmitted to that provider. Its own privacy terms apply. PluginPost presents these connections as optional and does not require LinkedIn account credentials.
Diagnostics
Crash reporting is opt-in. Diagnostic payloads are designed to exclude draft content and API keys. Website hosting may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security and delivery.
Your choices
You can use local models, remove API keys, disable optional diagnostics, export or delete local application data, and stop using connected services. Retention by an external provider is governed by that provider's settings and terms.
